COMMISSIONING YOUR ARTWORK
To begin a
commission, please contact me via
email to discuss
what kind of work you would like done, when you need to receive the
finished product, the size, and to choose color versus black & white.
I am quite flexible and can offer you a wide range of choices to use as
reference materials. I am unable to provide photoshoots at
this time but if you have a favorite personal
home photo I am more than happy to turn it into a wonderful painting for you.
Often, you don't have exactly the right photo but would like elements
from several photos brought together to form one perfect picture.
Most of my requests involve this last method so please do not hesitate
to ask how we can put together a painting you are envisioning.
All of your personal pictures are kept in the highest confidence out
of respect for your privacy. Your final painting will not be
shown on my website without your permission.
From your photos,
I then put together a sketch for your approval. Once you
are happy with it, I begin your painting and send you regular emails showing you
"in progress" pictures as the painting progresses. During this
time, any changes as long as they are not very major can still be requested. After you
have approved the
final version of the painting, it is insured and shipped to
you. All prices above include the cost of shipping and insurance.
All of my work comes with a 100% personal guarantee of your
satisfaction. I also provide professional sealing and varnishing
of your painting at no extra cost.
If you would like to
talk to some of my previous clients, please let me know and I will be
happy to refer you to them so you can ask them about their
experiences working with me.
Also see my testimonials
page for more about what it is like to work with me.
MATERIALS
I usually paint in
oils on stretched canvas but can also work in pastels, acrylics, pencils,
and watercolors if you prefer a different look. Please ask me for examples
of each if you are not sure which you prefer. You can also look
through my galleries to see which materials were used on each painting to
give you a better idea. |
